Final event of the International Teacher Leadership programme

“Learn from the experience of others”, final event of the programme of support to teachers under the title International Teacher Leadership took place in Sarajevo, on March 29th,  at the Primary School “Aleksa Santic”. NGO proMENTE Social Research, in cooperation with the Open Society Foundations (OSF), Open Society Fund Bosnia and Herzegovina and British Council Bosnia and Herzegovina, organised the event. The occasion was used to award the teachers and schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina  with the certificates for the successful participation in ITL programme.

More than 100 teacher leaders from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia and Monetegro joined the event to present their projects and share experience.

Also present were the representatives of the Ministry for Education, Science and Youth of Canton Sarajevo, City Administration Sarajevo, professor David Frost, author and initiator of the ITL programme,  with his  associates from the Cambridge University,  Aleesha Taylor, director of Special Projects in Education Support Programme of the Open Society Foundations (ESP/OSF), Gordana Miljevic, programme manager in the Centre for Education Policy Belgrade, and the principals of some schools.

Serbian team, composed of teachers and principals, was led by Jelena Vranjesevic from the Teachers Collage of Belgrade University.
